We have researched this Small George v Copper and Brass Kettle and then write the results on the back.  The back  reads.

George v Copper and Brass Kettle, it does not have a makers mark, but most of these small kettles where produced in Birmingham.

It is mounted on oak and sanded to show off the grain, we have not stained or varnished the timber as we believe the timber will look better as it weathers.  However, if you wish to add a coat of varnish you can but the smell may put the birds off for a few days until the smell is gone.

This Small George v Copper and Brass Kettle  is an ideal shape for a bird feeder, or planter.  If using as a feeder we suggest putting gaffer tape over the inside of the spout to keep seed in the pot.  if using as a planter leave the spout open for drainage.

We have inlaid a George v penny relevant to the age of the kettle on the back timber below the kettle.

As well as making an excellent bird feeder  or planter it will make a unique stunning feature / talking point for your garden.

The kettle is 18cm high including the handle, 12.5cm wide and back to spout 17cm.  Mounted the max length is 33cm, max width 14cm and max hight 23cm.
