This George V Antique Pewter Coffee / hot water Pot is stamped"Argent". This company was based I'm Birmingham, and the style of the mark indicates that this piece was made in the 1920s ans in the Arts and Crafts style.
It is mounted on oak sanded and waxed to show off the grain, we have not stained or varnished the timber as we believe the timber will look better as it weathers.
This coffee pot is an ideal shape for a bird feeder but could also be used as a planter, if using as a planter you would leave the spout open for drainage.
We resurch the history the coffee pot and write the results on the back, and then mount a coin relevant to the age of the pot on the front timber and this one has a George v penny. As well as making an excellent bird feeder or planter it will make a unique and stunning feature / talking point for your garden.
The dimensions are as follow. Height of the pot 16cm, width 10cm, handle to spout 16cm, Overall mounted maximum height 25cm, max width 15cm, max length 30cm.
Should we be sold out of this pewter coffee pot please be aware that we have lots of copper and pewter kettles and teapots in stock that we do not put on the website as they tend to sell quickly at shows. If you contact us we can send you pictures and prices of ones we have in stock.
